♥ Small Spring Haul (& Women's day) ♥

♥ Hello you lovely lot and Happy Women's Day!

So spring has finally arrived and to celebrate the warm weather I went to town for a little treat today. The sun has been shining non-stop for a few days now, and I have noticed, that I was becoming less grumpy and started to finally enjoy myself a lot more. Since the sun really boosts my happiness, I was in an amazing (and somewhat funny) mood today, which is why I decided to go and spend some cash. Naughty. But in my defense I didn't get a lot of things, just a few little bits and pieces.

I popped into H&M because I needed some basic tees for lounging around the house (and because of the awesome DJ standing in the display window- I mean who can miss that?)

Up next I went to look at some cheeky luxury beauty items (very, very naughty) and because I was feeling especially wild today I bought some YSL lipstick. Which is lush and which I instantly fell in love with. It is quite sheer and the colour is a gorgeous dark plum one and it doesn't wear off that easily (which is amaaaaaaazing!).  It is probably one the most expensive beauty products I've purchased this year, and to be honest I don't even feel guilty haha!

There's some serious swatching going on..

When I came home I found my kitchen table being swamped by beautiful flowers and a nice little surprise from my lovely daddy...

I hope you enjoyed this little post and hope you all had a lovely sunny day! xxx

Mini Beauty Haul (MAC, Dior, Clinique etc.)

I must confess, i have been a bit naughty recently...I went shopping again, oops! A few days ago I run out of my favorite mascara from Clinique, which is why I went to town to re-purchase it. In the shop I picked up a few other items I quite liked. All of them were quite pricey, so I am afraid that I won't be able to eat and drink for at least a week now haha! Jokes aside, I thought I'd show you guys some of the things I got.You might see a theme there, as I am currently obsessed with dark green and metallic.

OPI Lucerne- Tainly Look Marvelous
Diorshow waterproof liner in Mint
Dior Addict Ultra Gloss in 256
Clinique mascara double volume
MAC eyeshadow in Greensmoke

The first thing I got was my Clinique lash doubling mascara, which is my holy grail product. If you'd ask me what beauty item I'd choose if I could only use one for the rest of my life, I would say Clinique mascara without even hesitating. It is THE best mascara I have ever used (and I've used a lot of different mascaras), so if you guys never tried this one before: Stop what you're doing and go buy one RIGHT NOW. The first thing I like about it, is that the bristles are made out of hair and are super soft. I am not a big fan of plastic bristles, as they pull at my lashes and cause them to break. This mascara curls my lashes and gives them a lot of volume and length. It doesn't clump or dry and it lasts me for absolutely ages! I am in love with it and would never ever trade it for any other mascara in the world.

Next I went to the MAC stand to look at their lovely stuff. Now if you know me, you are probably aware that I am a massive MAC fan and I am always super excited about their collections and their insane variety of eyeshadows. I picked up this gorgeous sparkly dark green, because I thought it would be amazing for some smokey eyes. It is very pigmented and the colour is unbelievable! When I first used it on my eyes I realized that there were also some gold pigments involved. I am in love with this eyeshadow,it's so glamorous and I have been wearing it on nights out a lot!

I then walked past Dior and decided I needed an eyeliner to go with the MAC eyeshadow. I really liked this dark minty colour, and again I noticed some gold pigments, which I thought was quite interesting, as eyeliners tend to be more neutral. Apart from the beautiful colour, what made be buy it was the fact that it was waterproof. My biggest problem with eyeliners has always been that they would crease and smudge or even completely disappear by the end of the day. I've worn this eyeliner without a primer a few times and it stayed in place, which pleased me a lot.

Also from Dior I got a pink-ey nude lipgloss. I've heard quite a few people rave about this product, so I thought I'd give it a go. I really liked the colour and the consistency of this product, as it wasn't as gooey and sticky as most lipglosses are. It moisturizes the lips and gives them a nice shine, so all in all, even though it was a bit pricey, I do think that you get what you pay for. (The packaging is absolutely gorgeous as well!)

The last thing I got was a nail polish from OPI. I love the brand, they have the most amazing colours ever and the bottles do last me forever without drying out. I picked up a metallic silvery colour, because I am in love with everything metallic, being it jewelry, clutches or beauty products. One thing that slightly bothers me about this nail polish is that is takes ages to dry and chips off after about two days, which is an annoyance for someone like me who hates doing his nails. Apart from that, I really quite like it.

These are all the things for my small make up haul, I personally love to read/watch them because I think it's always interesting to see what other people are purchasing and what products they are loving. I hope you are all having a lovely day! xxx

What's in my Bag?

♥ Aloha!

I've had quite a busy day in town today, which means I had to take my MASSIVE bag and literally chuck quite a lot of stuff in it because, well, you never know what you might need during a long day like that. I figured, since I wanted to make a 'What's in my bag' post at some point anyway, I might as well just do it now.

Black LV bag (it's flippin' massive!)

Here are the necessities I carry around in my bag (including a few random bits..)

♥ The most important things in my bag are

 - my iPhone (5, white)

- my iPod (with some strange but amazing music) & headphones (not a fan of the iPhone headphones, which is why I am using different ones)

-my black purse (which is ancient, but I love it)

-my little pink umbrella (which I carry with me at all times, because the weather here is quite unpredictable- if you lived here, you'd understand)

♥ Some other items in my bag

-my brush (which I'll never leave the house without. The bristles are very soft and gentle, so they don't tend to pull out as much hair as brushes with hard ones do)

-some super soft tissues (not a fan of their scent though- it makes me sneeze)

-chewing gum (i ALWAYS have a pack with me, it's pretty much an accessory haha!)

-a small black purse, where I keep my tube tickets

-hand sanitizer (My savior. I have a bottle in every bag, because  I am quite paranoid when it comes to to touching things in public places, especially on the tube. Massive, massive YUCK!)

Black purse with gold hearted studs from Primark

♥ Beauty-wise ♥

-bottle of perfume (usually I carry around small samples, not quite sure why I threw that massive thing in there..living life on the edge haha)

-some mascara to make me look awake

-some hand cream (a must in my bag, as my hands tend to get quite dry in winter)

-lip balm for chappy lips (not sure why exactly I need three of those haha)

-some berry lipstick (I use it on the lips and on the cheeks instead of blusher)

-lipgloss for a bit of extra volume

Perfume: Chance Chanel Eau Fraîche
Lipgloss: Lancôme Juicy Tubes in Framboise
Mascara: Diorshow Extase
Lipbalms: Sweet Lemon Lip Butter from The Body Shop, Brambleberry Rose Lip Balm & Born Lippy Watermelon from The Body Shop
Hand cream: Neutrogena Intense Repair
Lipstick: Sephora Rouge Shine No 13

♥ Random Bits and Pieces

-a few bobby pins

-one earring I've been searching for since September.Nice.

-vintage ring

-some coins (I am so rich)

-a pack of refreshing tissues (still from my trip to Bali)

-random little candy (don't know how long that's been there in there..)

-some pills

-a few receipts (mostly McDonald's. Oops :) )

-movie tickets for The Amazing Spiderman (been in there since summer)

I hope you all enjoyed this post, I had loads of fun making it! :)

Mwah! xx

Introduction and 10 facts about me ♥

Hi everyone!:)

So since I've never really properly introduced myself, I felt like I should maybe tell a few things about me and my life. I've also seen one of my favourite bloggers Zoella do the "10 facts about me" tag and I thought it was a really nice and fun idea.

My name is Anastasia, I am 17 years old and currently living in Vienna. I've decided to start a blog, mainly because I wanted to create a little place on the internet all for myself, so I could write about things I love and chat to other people who have the same interests as me:)

 10 Random Facts about Me

I have an inexplicable love for England and anything british (including accents, fashion and food). I am not quite sure why I am so obsessed with this country, but I remember being fascinated by it ever since I was a little girl. I've begged my parents to go to England and annoyed them to the point where they finally agreed. Last year we travelled all across the country and stayed in London for a whole week (which was a dream come true!). I am dreaming of moving to London ever since:)

♥ I am an incredible softie and ridiculously sentimental. Getting through a film without shedding a tear is beyond me. I cry at the weirdest moments during movies, when it's not even appropriate. (I watched the first Harry Potter movie the other day and had to get some tissues, because I couldn't handle how cute and proud Harry looked after he won his first Quidditch game haha)

♥ I often pretend to have conversations with different people and talk to myself in a british accent all the time. Normal.

♥ My shower is a place where I come up with the best ideas and also where I sing at the top of my lungs because I imagine myself being a rockstar.

♥ I hate the word "moist". The sound of it gives me shivers grrr.

♥ I love traveling to different cities, because I love finding random little streets with cute shops and restaurants. It makes me feel like a true wilderness explorer.

♥ I am socially awkward, especially around people I don't know too well or don't like. I tend to either say nothing at all or laugh awkwardly. One way to know that I am comfortable around a person is when I laugh like a madman and make inappropriate jokes;)

♥ I used to have a little toy cow which I got from my mum on my 9th birthday and used to make videos of it with one of my best friends. We filmed them on my brothers phone camera and re-watched them all the time because they were just so cute and funny. My brother eventually deleted them, because he thought they were rubbish, which was one of the most tragic moments of my life, but now he really regrets doing it.

♥ I am the world's fussiest person when it comes to buying jeans, because I never seem to find the perfect pair.

♥ The things that make me most happy are: chocolate, shopping sprees and lazy weekends:)

The Perfect Nude: Essie Sand Tropez

  ♥ Hello everyone!
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read my little posts about products and clothes I like and what I am up to in my life! I hope I can give some of you a few tips on makeup and fashion etc and I hope you enjoy your stay! xxx

So I've decided to start my blog with a little review of a nail polish I have been loving recently. It's the Essie Sand Tropez polish, which is a gorgeous camel kind of nude.

I am usually the type of person who can't wear any light colours on my nails, as I am not very confident about my fingers. They aren't very long and very thin which is why I always wear darker polishes, as they seem to elongate them and make them appear slimmer (weird thing, but that's just how i feel about it haha). I did experiment quite a lot with my nails, buying millions of different nail polishes, but I always tried to avoid the section with the nudes, even though I always admired the beautiful colours. However, with so many people (including celebrities and beauty gurus) raving about nude nail polishes, I thought I'd just try and give it a go and grabbed one of the bottles. In the end I wasn't brave enough to wear it after all, so it stayed in my drawer for about two months, gathering dust. I would have probably never used it, if I weren't searching for a voucher which I happened to put in the same place. Since I wasn't going anywhere that day I decided, that I might as well just try the nail polish on. I was absolutely blown away by everything: The colour was a gorgeous camel tone, which really complemented my skin, as it made it appear quite tan and also made my fingers look longer than usual (which was a miracle). The shine was amazing and it generally looked so chic and classy, that I had to admit how foolish I was for not wearing it before. I have been wearing nudes ever since and I love them to death.

As cheesy as it may sound, this little nail polish incident made quite an impact on my attitude towards life, as I realised that I didn't have to be afraid to try out something new, just because I convinced myself that it wouldn't be any good. I have been doing things I wouldn't normally say 'yes' to, and have been experimenting with my hair, makeup and clothes, and I have to say I am happier than ever!
